Bitcoin, Is the Faucet Running Dry?

Over the last year or so the latest online currency to take the world by storm has been Bitcoin. Not only has the company developed what seemingly is a strategy to ensure it's longevity but the number of users they have attracted to the Bitcoin interface has been substantial.

For instance if you take a look at the official Bitcoin Forum, you will notice that there are usually over 1000 people online at any given time. A look at the unofficial Bitcoin forum will reveal that a large number of people can also be found there.

Can the currency survive with the US Government after them? It seems like they quite possibly could. Bitcoin is not located at any one place, and can quickly move servers if need be. Sure there will be skeptics and issues along the way, but it is actually possible for this thing to grow quite large in the coming months.
